Glycosyltransferase 8 Domain Containing Protein 2 (GLT8D2)

GLT8D2 encodes a member of the glycosyltransferase family. The specific function of this protein has not been determined. Three alternatively spliced variants encoding the same isoform have been described.Glycosyltransferases are enzymes (EC 2.4) that act as a catalyst for the transfer of a monosaccharide unit from an activated nucleotide sugar to an Glycosyl acceptor molecule, usually an alcohol.
